Well I've got some choicy treats for you today kiddies. So here goes:
The Gourds - Gin And Juice: Quite plainly this is sheer, cracked-out, sublimely demented GENIUS. A bluegrass-y cover of Snoop Dogg's original. Never have I liked a rap song better.Works on it's own merits as well as being stupidly amusing.
American Steel - Got A Backbeat: Some no-nonsense, road-weary shouty punk for you now. The song is just permeated with years spent on the road.
Armchair Martian - Swinging With Jesus: I just couldn't resist the name, band AND song. It was worth it too. There's shades of Bush (although not as shit) with some balls. Moody, driven and somber. Good stuff.
