First of all, my presence here has been somewhat remiss as of late. I do apologise for this. I always do things in phases, and Ye Olde Intarweb seems to have taken something of a back seat as of late. I can't make any promises, but I'll try and be a teensy bit more active. I mean, it would be shockingly unfair to deprive you all of my winning charm and personality.
That said, I have bugger-all to say really. I went out last weekend to celebrate munch's birthday. I'm going out again this weekend to celebrate some more, work continues to be meh, all is as usual really. So I guess I'll just skip straight to the interesting bit:
BIG POPPA CREAMY'S BLOGTASTIC, BLOGERRIFIC MP3 BLOG (OF BLOGGINESS) (yes, it's still a working title you fucknuts) - Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith
McLusky - Ain't No Fool In Ferguson
Now if you're reading this munch, this is the one you'll want to download. A 2:45 slice of punk-rock venom and vitriol. This one lurches it's way along, hurling finely-crafted obscenities and jittery laments with a vengance. It also contains one of my favourite lyrics: "If you can cope in this hopeless, hepatitis piss-wreck, molotov cocktail, mono-browed shithole, baby, then you can cope anywhere at all."
The De Novo Dahls - Waiting For My Friends
Something entirely more pleasant for the second song. Waiting For My Friends is a cheery, pleasant little slice of indie pop that bops along quite agreeably with a catchy little chorus.
M83 - A Guitar And A Heart
And again, something completely different. This time it's another instrumental piece, built around soulful, almost melancholy chords from a fuzzed-out guitar that builds to a driving crescendo. Good stuff.
P.S. I need a good title for this part of my journal. The working title gag is getting old now, any suggestions?
