I appreciate everyone's response to my last post. Thank you for helping to brighten my day!

Beautiful weather here in Northern Ohio, eh? I'm not looking forward to driving to school today. They cancelled the Indians home opener and rescheduled it for tomorrow. I am actually relieved - baseball is no fun when you're bundled up like an Eskimo and sleet is pelting you in the face. Tomorrow, I can't go because of class so I just lost $20.

Last week was the most atrocious week I've had in a long while. Amazingly, I'm happier than I probably should be. Maybe my defense mechanism has kicked in. I always belonged to the school of "stiffle your feelings and put on a happy face."

My cat has been puking for a few days now (vet says hairballs) and I've been cleaning up after constantly. It's so sad to hear her wailing in the middle of the night with nausea. I woke up with her each time to try and move her to a non-carpeted area for easier clean up. As a result, I'm exhausted from getting up so often. Poor thing.

Time to run...I'm going to try and sneak in a nap before I have to leave for class tonight.
