Ah, the bitter game of retribution.

Why are women so different than men? If a man were in my situation, he'd have it out with the guy that was the source of his grief. Ten minutes later they'd be having beers and laughing about the whole situation as if nothing ever happened. On the other hand, women hold grudges and never let things go without a fight. We take mental inventory of all the wrongs people have done against us and pull out that list on a moment's notice. We present a false front to people when we are fuming mad on the inside. We smile when we really want to frown or cry. We want revenge for things people do that is unacceptable. We never forget and we want to "get back" at those who have mistreated us.

I really want to let it go....but for some reason, I can't. There is lack of closure and honesty in this situation. Without those, I can't process the events enough to make sense of them and be able to release myself from their powerful grip.
