But there's a downside--when I went through that shit last year, both my personal and professional relationships largely unravleld, because most of my close friends were all part of the same professional circle. It's important to have nutliple communities and spaces to reatreat to, I learned the hard way...

Yeah. The snow and wind were just right to keep us from flyiong all day, so the phones rang off the hook all damn day and we had to keep telling people to check back in and try to schedule them all tomorrow.
