I was going to ramble on about relationships and why people (aka friends) seem to dissolve from my life after a period of time, but that's too depressing. So I'll spout a little of it, just to get it off my mind and maybe I'll sleep a bit.
Back in Ohio I had a nice group of friends. I thought that when I moved to Colorado, some of them would remain friends. But as I am learning, perhaps I am the only one who felt that way. Two friends have not returned my email messages in over a month. Another seems to have given up on returning my phone calls. And one or two actually return my calls, but don't initiate on their own (one I can overlook since she has a 2 month old).
Which brings me to my question...what the fuck? I know people are busy and time surely flies, but to not return a phone call or email in over a month? I guess I am disappointed mostly. And I don't have the social network in place yet in Colorado that can fill the void I'm feeling right now.
