Hi all!
So, it turns out I am not much better at updating in the summer than I was during the school year. Of course, for those of you who follow hubby's journal know how hectic it has been. First vacation, which was wonderful, then poochie needing surgery, helping my sister prepare for my nephew's christianing, etc... The summer had just flown by, and now school is right around the corner again.
For those of you I did not get to thank individually, thank you so much for all the wonderful birthday wishes. This getting older thing sucks! So far, not that impressed with being 33.
Things with hubby and I are great as usual. Did i ever mention how much I adore that man! He is the sweetest, kindest, most generous person you could ever meet. Seeing him with our pets and foster kittens just melts my heart. He has such love, patience, and caring for these helpless little cuties. Fostering animals with him has been one of the most rewarding experiences of our marriage for me. For those of you who are mushes, you can appreciate how wonderful it is to have a man who is able to be both manly and tender. Oh how lucky I am
So, August is looking to be just as busy as July was. Between things wer need to get done around the house, and various plans and events, we are pretting much booked solid. Right now we are in the process of getting some major work done on our property (retaining wall, new deck, new fence, sprinkler system, hot tub, etc). Hopefully it will be done in time to have a party before fall sets in, and of course those of you who are our nearest and dearest (and live close enough to get to us) will be welcome to come!
Oh, and one last thing, for those of you who forgot what I look like I will be at the NJ Great Adventure trip!
