Okay, so here it goes, my first journal entry. Some of you may have met me at the ACE bar in NYC on Saturday (I'm Mrs. mydogfarted). For those of you I did not meet, I am 32 years old, happily married for 8 years, I have 3 dogs, 8 cats, and 1 foster kitten. I am on my way to becoming a vegetarian (still eating chicken only), and try to buy only cruelty free products.

I am a Social Worker and have been in the field for 9 years. Currently I work with adults with Mental Illness. I am going back to school in September to start my PhD program in Social Work at Fordham University.

I am a few pounds overweight (15 or so) and I hate it. I have a bad back that required surgery last October, one of the most traumatic experiences of my life.

My father died when I was 24. I was very close to my dad and it was by far the worst day of my life. My little sister was only 19 when he died, and it broke my heart watching her grieve. Luckily I still have my mom.

I am fortunate to be married to the love of my life, have good friends, a loving family, a beautiful home, and 11 animals that love me unconditionally.

So, that's me in a nutshell. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!!!
