Time keeps trucking. I still have a job in the midst of this crazy downturn and a nice 15% pay cut that is temporary and expiring in several months.
I distrust the government more each day. I wonder what happened to all the self proclaimed liberals. When Bush was killing innocent people in other countries, they protested their hearts out. Bush became a bad word. Now that Obama is in office, he's increased the deficit more than any president ever has in the history of the United States. He has also expanded Bush's policies, upheld the Patriot Act (which he said he was against), started a new war in Afghanistan after he lied about returning the troops home from Iraq, and now he wants to invade Iran. I wonder why the killing of innocents is not being protested anymore. I feel like I'm out of step in wanting peace.
I started night school a couple weeks ago at the local community college. I have a Bachelors already and these courses are so that I can get a Cisco certification which will make my skill set a lot more marketable.
Tonight I'm having a party at my place in celebration of my friend's birthday. Lots of my famous grilled chicken and possibly some kabobs. No party would be complete without a tri-tip either. I am well stocked on the beer and booze too.
