I think us gen-Xers are pretty... self-reflective and nostalgic. I don't know, just what I've observed. And I personally feel pulled in so many directions, it's hard to know who I am most of the time. And then I figure it our and go "God I'm stupid for trying to be this other thing"

or throw it in the gutter (read properly dispose of it, OR donate it to a non-profit for a tax credit) and get a spiffy(!) bike

also, do you work on commission? as for having to "explain things" to people, i really do hate it. c'mon people, if said it has milk chocolate that means it has milk chocolate or *insert any other ingredient*. if i say it has nuts, and you're allergic to nuts, you probably SHOULDN'T eat it... okay, maybe i've being too harsh.

it's good to hear that you've been drawing. i haven't in awhile. i have, however, taken to watching gross amounts of tv programming (i.e. x-files) and, on occasion, playing sim city 4 (reincarnated, since i lost everything in The Great VirusStorm of last year).

well, in a word, existentialism.

i've heard some people explain it as a metaphor (this SO does not feel like the correct word), and not something to be taken literally. personally, i feel diving into this issue (even the shallow end) is one great clusterfuck. but, hey, it's fun to get into a spirited debate now and again, isn't it?

sure, but if you spend too much, then you're nowhere. actually, that's incorrect--you're in the poorhouse. it's a delicate balance between spending the "right amount" and "too much"; i think i'm on the verge of the latter. i don't think it's good when one can blow a week's paycheck on books from amazon
