A second baby is at least triple the work! Man, I have been running morning to night. Busy before work, busy at work, and busy after work. So, today I’m up too late to spend time here.
Other then being a daddy and a teacher,I am an artist. You might know that if you have visited before. Well, in my city I am lucky enough to be a member and administrator for an art group. I run different events and art creation challenges. I have been running Inktober for at least 5 years, unofficial because our request to use the logo with our logo was ignored. I’ll share the work after the month is over. It ranges from good to meh. There are some I am pretty happy with.
In addition, I am getting ready for my 4th annual Creativember challenge.I started it after Inktober when I had caught the drawing bug. It allowed me fuel to keep drawing daily. I made it over half a year as a daily drawer. Which now is not that surprising because I draw any free moment I get. Anyway this year I decided Creativember was mainly about making 2 completed artworks, or people could choose to do daily drawings but I did not provide prompts this time. I just suggested some good online resources for prompt hunting. I should share the pdf….
oh and I had surgery last Friday, apparently there was a growth on the right side of my thyroid. So they lopped it off and left me with half a thyroid. So not stressful or anything. Totally not a big deal. Except that I can’t talk and I also can’t sing to my crying 2 month old and that was how I calmed him prior to the surgery. But good thoughts and all.
Oh and because I am not busy enough I am going to try and take on nanowrimo for the first time in like 5 years.
