Wellity, wellity, wellity.
I'm twitchy tonight because after about seven months of classes, I am not going to pole dancing anymore. Time to save money and that was the first thing to go, mostly because I can practise on my housemate's pole that's set up in her room. Still, the class is so much fun and more challenging than just practising at home. And it provided me with photos to shock the grandkids with when I'm wrinkly and old and hitting them over the head with a cane.
I watched Braindead last night with a friend for the first time ages. It is as hilarious and gross as I remember. Moreso, even. I foresee much communication in quotes from it for quite some time. After all, I kick arse for the Lord!
I'm sad Monday Night Dinners are over. It's a three year strong tradition that began when I moved in the same street as scorpius_cat and another buddy and we decided to take turns cooking dinner once a week. Didn't matter if it wasn't on a Monday night - in fact, it hasn't been on a Monday night for a while - that was what it was called. It was one of the things that forced me to learn to cook a little. And now everyone's going their separate ways for a while. I'm going to miss eating so much I feel sick in that really satisfied way. And the girls, I guess. But mostly the food. Oh god, the food.
Just saw an ad for a live-in hotel worker on Hamilton Island. I'm tempted.
