hi crashberry, nice to meet you. i live in shenzhen. what international school are you working in? i used to work at the korean international school there a few years back. i really miss beijing (except for the winters!). shenzhen is a cultural wasteland. i just got back from guangzhou though which was really cool. my band played with world's end girlfriend and electronicat. WEG was great. i think they're playing in beijing tonight actually. it's probably to late to see them though. what have you been doing in BJ?

hi annie, i'm nolan. i really love houhai too. you're killin' me...i miss it alot. love the vietnamese restaurant there called nuage. they have some good parties downstairs too. the fall is the best time to be in BJ. my girlfriend is threatening to take me up there in a couple weeks for my birthday but i really want to go back to guangzhou next week to check out the rest of the music festival and then go to shanghai in my continuing search for a real job. i'll let you know if we go out there. have you been to the 798 art space? that's by where i used to live. they were talking about tearing it down when i left.

I found a ROOMIE!! She is really cool and from Montreal! I'm soooo excited to live with her! Except, we live on the 20th floor, and the evelvator stops at 12 midnight!!! So when i go out on the weekends....I'll buy some beers and stop half way! wink

wow, i never though i'd make it this far. I'm really proud of who I am and how far I have come. Half the people I went to high school with have not come as far as me. Damn...it's weird to look back, and think that I never though I would amount to this much.. whatever
