Being obsolete is painful. The ex wife deemed me obsolete. That was years ago. I am much better now.

As a coach, if I walk away I am still obsolete. With the ex, only I can say I was better. If my former team does better, was it me that was holding it back? Even if their competition is inferior, when they win, it is as if I was the reason they didn't win. I can still see their faults but if they win, I am obsolete.
