I just had my first bellydancing class tonight. It was even more fun than I thought it would be. My teacher is so much fun. It was so cool to look around at the room full of women of all ages and sizes taking the hip movements and each interpreting it in their own way. Each had their own way of moving and it wasn't always what you would have expected based on how they looked.

And the hip scarves. Drooooool. So pretty. Our teacher was wearing one with coins all along her ass and with each shimmy her coins would jingle. They're pretty pricey things so I think I'll probably make one. That's just what I need right now is another sewing project. I only have 2 on the go already.

And I got to take the class with a dear sweet friend of mine. We hung out for a bit afterwards which was nice cause we don't see each other as often anymore now that we're both working. And she gave me some of her homemade granola bars. Such a sweetheart.
