Stoked! Just talked to the Canadian consolate and it turns out that I AM Canadian!! Actually, I'm dual which is even cooler! Yukon here I come (the Yukon is only 30 minutes away from me but still, now I am legal!!).

They tried to deliver it on Friday but no one was home. It was driving me crazy all weekend long. Sometimes I think I'm 5 years old. But I get to be a bad little kid now cause I was so good when I was little.

I'm so proud of myself. I just went to the dentist for the first time in 8 years. And as I suspected it was no where near as bad as I was imagining it. So I celebrated my braveness by buying a bottle of Glenlivet. Ah winter, mandarin oranges and whiskey. =)

It's crazy strange here. It's the end of November and the rains haven't started yet. It's all blue and sunny and cold outside. Normally we only see gray overcast skies and rain from October till March here in Vancouver. The sunnyness makes me smile =)

I talk with a couple of Victoria-area shutins (read:cubicle-dwellers) every day, and one of them--Corrin, who I picture as being a slightly rotund, jolly, Mickey Ronney-esque man, mentioned today that the weather is so unseasonal in your area that Whistler is blowing somewhere in the neighborhood of $40 000 a day to make snow, since there has been no precipitation at all... as good a justification for smiling about the weather as any, I suppose. Enjoy!

Yay! I'm moving. Away from the awful suburb of new westminster back into vancouver. We found this cute almost heritage corner suite apartment that has a tree outside our living room window so our cats can even get outside. No more having to leave clubs at 12:45 in order to take the skytrain home, or having to stay out all night until the busses start...

I once had a cat named Felix, who ran away and then animal control called me 2 whole years later and said he'd been arrested. I bailed him out and from that day until the next time he took off, he never left my side. I really miss him....Cats are marvelous creatures. They express their loyalty to you by bringing dead things to your doorstep, or if they really love you, in your bed. What a cool way to show someone you love them.
