Went to see my parents over the weekend. Left early today to beat the weather coming in. It's a 4 hour trip, and about 2.5 hours in, my engine lights went nuts. I pulled over, took a look, and my serpentine belt had come off the bullies. In layman's terms...car no go. So, I call my insurance and they send a tow truck...an hour later. Guy gives me a lift to the next big town, where one of my cousins lives. Dropped off the car, and my cousin gave me a ride the rest of the way to Omaha. A 4 hour trip that took 8 hours. And a who-knows-how-big repair bill waiting for me.
