Nothing like being on your own to find out who you really are. I've actually discovered that I'm quite the jerk, and the trippy part is, I'm ok with that. I figure if people don't want to deal with a jerk, I probably shouldn't be friends with them anyway. As luck would have it, the very few people I have given my time, energy, and trust to love me whether I'm a jerk or not. And that, my friends, is why I invest so much time into so few.
