I know man. the "art" of movie making is lost in the 21st century. It's all about making money and putting out toys and collector cups (eventhough I like collector cups) Guys like me and a few others, maybe even some on SG have tons of ideas but Hollywood doesn't want us, they want assholes like Brett Ratner who kiss producers's asses. They want people who DON'T even know the source material (comics, cartoons, toys, books,whatever) and just put some shit on the screen that vaguely passes for whatever you liked as a kid. I HATE people like Michael Bay and wish Hollywood would wake up. But you can't put the blame all on Hollywood becuz our dumbasses still go and pay for this bullshit. I rarely pay for a movie ticket anymore. I try to get free screenings to let me know whether I wanna spend $9.50. There's been a few movies I loved but most of them are forgettable dreck. I LOVED the original Total Recall. But like I said before Colin s NO Shwarzeneggar and it's pretty much the same story just all glammed up. You can't fool me again Hollywood, I'm not drinking the kool-aid.
