I haven't had a blog to post on since my tumblr days. I thought it would be nice to share some things about me. Plus @rambo and @missy have had some great prompts that have come up lately!
Right now the world is in a state where happiness has been quite a struggle. I myself have struggled some days to stay positive because it seems the world is falling apart. I think it's important to take a step back to focus on yourself. Yourself should be your first priority because if you are hurt, it's going to be hard to help others to the best of your ability. There's a couple things that keep me calm and excited for the future. I am excited to see some people willing to learn in change, I'm excited to work on lots more art projects, and I am absolutely excited for my journey on here!
The world seems to be having a hard time figuring out what should change and how it should change. There is no doubt that in America, I have experienced versions of racism. I live in the south so in some parts it is much worse than the others. It kills me to see so many people in pain. I've never discredited someone because of their race, gender, or sexual orientation. My family itself is a mixture of different cultures and different sexual orientations, me included. I have the advantage of looking white but it's very obvious when I go out with some of my family that most people think something is wrong. It's terrifying to experience.
My Uncle and Aunt have been advocates for years about the end of discrimination of people based on race, religion, or sexual orientation. They are people I look up to dearly. They are aware of all the things I do and even though they personally would not do what I do, they still love me and accept me. They have so much warmth. I am excited to see that some people are willing to learn and change. It will take time but I think its important that people keep themselves accountable. My hope is to see something bloom to help people realize that there is no person superior based on race. Everyone bleeds red. I hope attention is brought to all the bad systems. It gives me hope to see the whole world united in one goal.
Another thing I'm excited for is to create all kinds of new art! I currently have an etsy shop! I have always baked, sewn, painted, sculpted all kinds of things! I have a highlight story on my insta that shows a lot of work in progresses! I'm so excited to be adding things to my shop and finishing up some cosplays I've been sewing for quite awhile. I love thatI am able to do what I love when it comes to crafting but I also enjoy photography. I enjoy both being the model but also being the photographer! I have a knack for finding small things. For example, when we were shooting in the forest, I found all kinds of animals and insects. I found spiders, all the way to a baby snake curled up! I'm so excited to see some of my ideas to become a reality!
One of the things I'm the most excited for is finally being on here! It's gonna be a bit before my debut set comes out but that gives me time to make lots of new friends and to help support others! I have dreamed of being a Suicide Girl since I was pretty young. I model for a lot of reasons. I was bullied a lot growing up and told that I was ugly. I now have so much confidence in myself its astounding. I love to prove those who said mean things, wrong. I've always loved tattoos and I always said I was gonna have a bunch and I do! I enjoy getting to share them with others! I hopefully will one day be in inked magazine. That's my other goal besides going pink here! I'm so excited to make new friends and experiences. I love how supportive the people are on here. It makes me feel right at home!
Basically I have things that I'm looking forward to. They bring me a lot of joy and motivation. I heavily suggest that you take a moment to think of some goals that you would like to achieve and things that you're thankful for. It makes a world of difference along with taking a few deep breaths. Alright, I think I've written enough! What should I write about next?
