Jodie Foster is one of the best actors planet Earth has ever given birth to. Her two Oscars, her performances that havent been nominated for anything and the two brilliant films shes directed all attest to that....

To music purists nothing is scarier than when a legendary artist embraces new technology. I still talk to people who think Bob Dylan lost it when he went electric. Certainly DJ Sasha surprised everyone and angered many when he decided that he was going to be doing his live shows using the Ableton...
Andrew Niccol burst onto the film scene in the late 90s like a chattering Kalachnikof AK 47 with his directorial debut, Gattaca, a post-1984 look at a world where genetic perfection through science has become commonplace and a film he wrote but did not direct, The Truman Show, about a man whos entire...

Its been a big year for comic book creators in the movies with Frank Miller co-directing Sin City and the Fantastic Four movie being such a big hit. It was going to get even better with the reteaming of Terry Zwigoff with Daniel Clowes on Art School Confidential. But since that movie has been delayed...
Talking to Greg The Bunny co-creator, Dan Milano, can make you feel a bit schizophrenic. As hes talking he will slip on the Greg puppet then the Warren the Ape puppet. But then he might have Warren on his hand and argue with him in Gregs voice. It can be a bit overwhelming....
Scott Derrickson kicked himself up a notch when he took on the role of co-writing and directing the studio funded horror film The Exorcism of Emily Rose. His previous credits were such straight genre fare as Hellraiser: Inferno. But its a whole different game when youre working with actors like...
Lodge Kerrigan is that interesting enigma of American cinema. His films are always critically acclaimed and are brilliant but they have never broken out into the mainstream. In fact only a small part of the independent world seems to be aware of his work. But his two previous films Clean, Shaven and...
