I feel as though a switch has flipped inside me some time in the last three months. Right now, it's 8:30am and I'm already up and at my desk, ready to get on with work. Where there used to be laziness and procrastination, suddenly there's this. There's getting up early, there's working on projects I only dreamed about actually getting on with, there's drive. Maybe focus is one of those things everyone comes to with age. If I don't do it now, when will I do it? It's interesting, I'm enjoying it. There's a certain satisfaction in it. Like those simultaneous equations with three or four formulas. I was so addicted to doing those in highschool, I used to time myself with a stopwatch and see how quick I could get. In a way, I feel like I'm returning to being that girl; my highschool self. She was organised and ruthless. I suppose the clear goal of "get into university" was a vicious motivator. Unlike "survive uni, get job, ???, profit" which has been my MO for the past several years. Perhaps now that the muck of uni has finally fallen away, I'll be free to work and enjoy my work again. Set my own goals. Maybe it's just because it's February and everyone feels like this at the beginning of the year. I suppose time will tell.
I have a new photoset coming out today. Hopefully you enjoy it. Here's the blog I wrote around the time it was shot. I named the set Hypothermia because I was actually coming down with a case of it one I'd finished shooting. I'd stopped shivering which is never good. My ears felt really tight inside and I was struggling to hear what everyone was saying. Also my lips were turning blue (something I fixed in post). Every time I look at these photos I shiver. Hopefully you can't tell, though. It was below zero, but I'm not sure exactly what the apparent temp would have been (no weather stations out there). It was really windy and that made it even colder.

You also need to go and follow these two ladies @emmameow and @opheliacreep. They both shot with @exkyu (and me) in Melbourne a few months back and their sets are finally about to see the light of day! Here's the preview images:
Gosh, I'm so excited. I have really high hopes for both these sets. These ladies are stunners and I can't believe how lucky I was to get to see them naked (teehee!). So yeah, go preemptively follow them. When their sets come out, you will thank me for the tip.
I suppose it's time for breakfast! I hope you all have a great day, I'll be spending today editing my novel. I want to be 1/3rd of the way through the first rough round of edits by the end of the day. Which is only about another chapter and a half away. Very do-able, especially with RescueTime running and blocking my access to all 'distracting' websites. Ha.
