I never thought I'd shoot a set in such a public location, but I decided that the gardens next to Parliament House were too pretty to resist. I guess this is the first time I've shot somewhere that has an active surveillance team and cameras, but we actually managed to get away with it. So uh, I have a new set in the Member Review queue called 'Secret Garden' yay! It was a really great shoot, it was sprinkling with rain on and off just before we started which completely cleared the area of people and while we were shooting, there was only one moment where we were disturbed and that was just a couple of people walking about 50m away. I actually screamed (which only drew their attention to us) and then ducked down behind a bush so fast that I fell over and hit my head on a big concrete wall. Derp. Also at one point @exku slipped on a wet spot and landed on one of my fingers! I nearly cried but I was so aware of my non-waterproof makeup that I managed to keep it in. So yes, I was hurt quite a bit in the production of this new set. The queue says my set won't be up until August which is a bit of a bummer, hopefully some sets will be taken out of the queue... or the queue is sped up between now and then. I honestly feel like I can't wait that long!
The new Game of Thrones episode was incredible. I am -not- one of the 'unsullied' (I've read the books) so I'll be super careful with spoilers here. But yes, I LOVED IT. Daario is much better with the new actor. I am absolutely over the moon about how perfectly Oberyn Martell came out and yes all the amazingness of last season is back again. I've felt like I've been subsisting on crumbs and now finally someone's given me a roast dinner. THAT is how much better the writing is compared to all the other TV shows I watch (with the possible exception of BBC Sherlock). I am really excited for next episode, I've already watched S04E01 twice. The wait for the download was PAINFUL though! Haha. Not half as painful as paying for cable TV and waiting till evening to watch it, though. So yes, ten points Team GoT. So glad you're back. GIMME MORE.

Now that she's got an account I can show you some pictures from the shoots @exkyu and I did on Saturday! Many of you will recognise this oldschool member, her hopeful account will be @unicorn__ . I think I already told her that we shot two sets of her, here's a pic from the first one that will be in the queue once paperwork etc is sorted out with the site.
The second set will obviously be a few months away because SG prefers us to space out sets by 8 weeks, but here's a behind-the-scenes snap that I took and put up on Instagram (I stopped my Instagram feed from coming up on my feed here because I realised I wasn't going to have anything decent to blog about and you guys would end up seeing everything twice)!
There was one part of that second set where I was trying to hook @unicorn__ 's underwear into her high heel to get a cool pic of her pulling it back and she was in hysterics over it and then I broke down laughing too. It's really weird the shit we do for a good photoset, I hope you guys realise that! It was worth it though, we got a really good shot in the end.
Also, folks need to take the filters away from me, I posted this yesterday. Interestingly, more people liked it than have liked most of my other photos! Weird how the insta-mind hive works. Anyway, I wouldn't have bothered posting this one up at all but now I kind of feel obligated, is that weird? I like it, it was fun to make!
I just noticed it's almost the exact expression and face angle as the first picture I posted for this blog. Maybe this is going to be a thing with me now. Haha.
Two more sets from Team @exku came out this week (this is IT for another week, then my multi with @christina comes out YAY and then a big long wait till you get anything more from us, so enjoy it while you can)...

Sorry if the quality of these previews isn't great, I just capped them off my screen because I'm sick to death of waiting HOURS for the uploader to do it's thing on here. I love that we have such hi-res images with this new site, but I hate hate hate how long it takes for everything to LOAD! Maybe it's just an Aussie internet is crap thing, I don't know.
Please don't forget about this set and this set! Both these girls are only a few comments off being a shoo-in for set of the day, so every little bit helps. Also the others here. It seems like us Aussies need all the help we can get! If you scroll down far enough you can see my set Country Avenue which is still in Member Review. Sigh!
I am so inspired by Laurence Amelie's artworks, I think I will be attempting something similar soon. I love how feminine and whimsical her stuff is! I bought a canvas and some paint and brushes. I haven't painted anything in a while, but the theory is all still there so fingers crossed. Oh and I wanted to talk about an addiction of mine. I am irretrievably and completely addicted to the game 2048, is anyone else as obsessed as I am? I even found a doge version and a game. And then I found this. Which has to be seen to be believed. I want to play every version of 2048 that I can find.
Edit: Ok I made my own 2048. It's an Australian Suicidegirls themed one. (From newest to oldschool-est as far as I remember).
