My sister is a hopeful!! GO add her @mouse__ ... Her account isn't activated yet (because she is literally BRAND NEW TO SG) but you can follow her and leave her a message of love and welcoming and she'll receive it once her set's in the MR queue and her account is up. We shot a set of her last week, I actually decided to cameo in it (just one image) because my hair was looking pretty darn messy and amazing:
She did a really great job, at one point it got so warm in my house that her glasses were fogging up and we had to put the air conditioning on but she was a trooper and the photos came out really really amazing. I am so happy about it.
It's actually funny how she found out about me being on SG. It's something I tend to keep on the down-low just because I don't want every man and his dog looking up naked pictures of me. Anyway, @mouse__ was a fan of Suicidegirls and liked the SG account over on Facebook. I don't think I noticed right away but I remember she had a SG merch top (the logo henley... which is like the ONLY ONE I DON'T ALREADY OWN) and I was pretty confused/amused by that. Anyway, SG features me from time to time on their facebook page so it was only a matter of time before I get this text message from her all like "wtf". I think my response was something like "surprise! I'm a suicidegirl!" which was probably one of my more epic moments, all things considered.
Anyway, she came along to the Suicidegirls recruitment party that I hosted in Sydney and I got her all sorted out and this last week we finally got a set shot of her! I didn't push her to do a shoot, in fact, the opposite is probably true. There were a lot of "are you sure?" conversations. But she was sure. I am so proud of her. We actually managed to shoot two sets of her so hopefully SG buys one and we can be SG sisters as well as regular sisters. Here's another shot from the set. It was shot at my house which is kinda cool because all my stuff is in it. You guys might recognise some of the tea set and the rug we put on the floor from other sets.
Meow meow meow. She has tattoos from the same artist as me. We are both natural brunettes who have gone red and we both wear glasses. People are always on about how similar we look but I personally think we have pretty different bone structure in our faces and she has a much cooler skin tone than me.
Speaking of tattoos. I AM GETTING ANOTHER ONE THIS WEEK. So excited! My Athena half sleeve... I have been dreaming about this one for years and it's finally happening! I can't get over how excited I am.
Alsooo Blackheart Burlesque is in Australia! I will be coming to the Sydney (Saturday) and Canberra (Sunday) shows. I'll have prints to sign if you'd like to buy one off me ($7 each or two for $10) and I will be looking out for new potential hopefuls and doing some recruiting! I chopped up one of my SG tshirts and made this amazing creation and I will be wearing it to (at least) Sydney:

Every time I see one I duck my head and my brain goes "argh! SG is so famous!" sometimes I wonder who the fuck messed up and let me be on this site. It really is amazing, I love you guys so much. <3 I am super excited about finally meeting @missy and @vorpal and @sunshine and also @bricksie who I am a massive fan of from on here. Hopefully I don't fuck up and act like an idiot. I am actually pretty nervous.
A whole bunch of you started following me on here about a week ago so hello! If you want more action and adventure on the high seas go add me on Instagram and Twitter too. I am just about to pass a milestone on Instagram, pretty stoked about that. I try to be funny and entertaining and sexy over there, hopefully you guys will enjoy.
I hung out with @twiggythespider and @ainslie over the weekend, that was lovely too. I haven't seen Ainslie since 2011 so we had heaps to catch up on. And then while I was out with Twig getting ice cream we saw MORE Blackheart Burlesque flyers. I imagine SG is going to get a whole lot of new Aussie members out of this. Fingers crossed, I really hope we do. There are so so so many amazing girls in Australia it's madness that SG isn't more famous!
I also drank beer for the first time in about three years. It was just as... beer-ish as I remember. Next time I'll just stay on the wine.
My fingernails are actually really long (for me) right now. I kinda want to shoot another set before I go getting stressed and biting them all off again. Maybe if I can make them last till after this half-sleeve appointment then I'll be sweet. I have spotted a vineyard just outta town that I want to sneak into at like 5am and shoot in. Because wine.
