I've had a mega weekend of the flu, shopping, visiting friends, eating out and tattoo consultations.
On Satruday I went out with my girls Puffin and Stranger_girl and we visited E1e's amazing house and did the shopping thing and the tattoo thing. As of now I'm still a cleanskin, but probably only for another 6weeks! Eep!
This was at E1e's.
Then today I went shopping again. My mother always takes me out for 'things you need' when my birthday is coming up because he's an awful suprise-buyer. We naturally ended up in the 'pretty dress' section of all the shops, which I don't mind, except then she wants to get all the dresses for herself. I did end up getting some comfortable shoes (but still pretty) and a few good bras.
I appear to have gone up another bra size. I always thought I was a D until I did a bra fitting course a few years back. I kinda wish that I'd never done that course because I'd be obliviously buying fashionable/pretty bras which were slightly too small in the cup (and too large around my back) and I never would have known the difference. Although I suppose I would have ended up with saggy boobs at 35 so its probably for the best this way. I really recommend learning the basics of bra fitting (youtube is a great place to learn this stuff) so you can fit yourself. A lot of the time the proper bra shop ladies don't know what they're talking about. I really think most girls are wearing at least a size too small in the cup and a size too large going around the back. Most of your bra support comes from the back band, not the straps!
I'm a 10E (US size 32E) in this brand that I bought today. And I'm still paranoid that too much boob is popping out the top like a mushroom and is going to look funny under tops. But... you know, getting a bra that fits THIS WELL is a massive achievement for me. And is probably mostly due to the relentless efforts of my mother insisiting I try on EVERY brand. Love ya mum. I ended up with a black one and a white one, both the same. They make my boobs look epic roundular. Love it.
