My last week has been so busy!

I've been planting willows in erosion gullies (they aren't noxious... yet, making the most of it because they really do help), scattering endangered grass seeds on fallow fields, anticipating roast goat, visiting rivers and drinking wonderfully clean snowmelt, building fences, digging swales, shovelling horse shit, clampering through bushland, photographing strange plants, getting lichen under my fingernails, talking to old biodynamic farmers, shooting at kangaroos, reading books on self-sufficiency, sitting next to a fire.

I must admit, I do enjoy scratching in the dirt.
