Merry christmas! Or yule/litha if you prefer to celebrate the seasons!

I'm about to head out to my family's chrissy lunch which is always nice... or at least, its nice for me because I get along with everyone! Then after that I'm going for a nice four hour drive to visit some extended family! If you ever need to drive on highways around christmas time, I recommend early evening on xmas day. No trucks, barely any cars. Its wonderful! Probably one of the safest things I do around this time of the year!

My trip has really been great. I saw so much amazing stuff and met some pretty crazy people. I think theres a general rule in Australia that the further inland you go, the crazier the people get. I thought *I* was weird! Haha. Since I got back Ive been a flurry of busyness trying to organise lastminute gifts for everyone. Luckily I bought a few awesome souvenirs for people (not lame keyrings... stuff like beautiful jewelry and interesting books).

Anyway, better get a wriggle on! I'm in charge of making the salad today (I honestly think my mum picks the easiest task for me... no idea why. I'm a good cook!). Have a good one!
