My insomnia will be the death of me.
I have my pediatric clinical to attend in 3 and 1/2 hours. The conversion from coming off the night shift Sunday morning to waking up rested Monday morning is a fine art I doubt I shall master before summer's end. But hey, I bargained for it.
I joyfully contributed to the $16+ million midnight Star Wars opener Thursday morning. As much as I love my Star Wars (I actually liked Jar Jar), I had to chuckle a bit. The melodrama of Darth's bellowing denial in rigid posturing at the end was too much.
This is the point where I want to type out all the deep and meaningful thoughts that I juggle in my mind. Where famine and warfare might be subverted with a stroke of my poetic insight. Religion torn asunder with a quip of my logic. Salvation in a blog.
But if you'll excuse me, I'll be masturbationg instead. It's more within my grasp, if you will.
