Hi there! I'm back on the site. I've been myspacing. Still am. Say what you want.

I've just returned from 22 days in Thailand and Laos. It was just too amazing. The history, the countryside, the people, the geckos... Seriously. You couldn't get a room without a gecko on the wall.

Louang Phrabang, Laos; I've never been in a place where any given person is so likely too give you a tremendous smile for no other reason than the love of strangers.

Enough gloating. I have to recommend a book that I finished on the flight back. "The Art of Loving" by Erich Fromm. Thank you, Marie. This book was written 50 years ago and the observations are even more relevant today.

You cannot have true love for an individual until you nurture your love for every human being.

The initial passion of a new relationship does not show that you are meant for each other, only how intensely you needed love to begin with.

Love is not something that happens to you when the right person comes along; it's something you practice with every moment of your being.
