I am a World-Class Grudge Holder.
I am missing work this week (well, not really missing it so much as not able to be present for) thanks to one or two jerks who made our journey from Texas yesterday three times longer than necessary.
After ten years in this industry and some old-fashioned common sense, it truly chaps me when others just don't give a damn about their job or their co-workers. I always have taken the extra step to take care of my peers when they are headed somewhere. A free drink or four, a little goodie bag for later, the opportunity too just sit and snooze if that's what they wanna do. So is really too much to ask to not be treated with disrespect and be asked to step aside and wait while you help the other people in line, meanwhile watching my plane push back with empty seats that we were just comfortably seated in and thrilled to be on our way home at a decent hour?? Perhaps it is a tall order...
Anyhow, home now after a fun weekend in some really disgusting weather (98 degrees and 100% humidity) and glad to be back, but still having a hard time letting go of the events of yesterday. Life is probably too short to let it fester, but seriously, just do your damn job the way you are supposed to.
Phew, a little venting helps.
But I still may write that bitch up.
