This will be a short entry 'cause I must be departing soon, but it's good news.

I have a job.

I've been unemployed for a year, I've been on the dole for months, and I have a job. It pays well, it's close to home, it leaves me enough hours in the day to have a life (though I have to be up early), and it's steady.

I won. All the people who told me I had to give up certain things; all the people who said trolling the boards on the computer wouldn't go anywhere... I won. I didn't compromise, I didn't settle, and I have been rewarded.

I'm not going to screw this one up. I'll work hard, I'll work smart, and I'll make this work.

Wish me luck folks; I'm a working stiff again come Monday.
