Guess who's going to Havana??

Can't remember if I have discussed this yet, but I loved loved LOVED Wicked. I got into it right away and just couldn't put it down. It is a lot different than the musical, but it is just as good. I love them both equally. For anyone interested in those kinds of books or looking for something different I would highly recommend it. I've been trying to find other works by Maguire such as Confessions of an Ugly Step-sister, and Mirror Mirror. I think Half Price books has them, but I didn't see them at Borders the other day.
I jumped into Tom Sawyer. I'm pretty far along with it and I'm enjoying it. It kind of reminds me of when I was a kid and all the times I thought about running away just to see if anyone would miss me. It makes me think of how much I miss fishing and swimming and all the elaborate stories we would tell on the playground during recess or the first time I had a hit off a cigarette and how ill it made me feel.
Speaking of smoking, I am STILL smoke free. I have not had so much as a hit of a cigarette since mid-February.
I ordered all my books and spent $384 and some change. They are ready at my school's bookstore to pick up.
I have to be thinking about what kind of classroom I want to observe. I'm taking an observing the learner class. It's all educational psychology, but it is listed as an education class instead of psychology class. Once a week I go to a classroom and observe the teacher and the students. I need about 10 hours of field work PLUS I have a lab on Tuesdays and Thursdays that last 6pm-7pm. I have to get up at 8:30 everyday because everyday my classes begin at 9:30. I really know how to pick them don't I? I'm going to be cranky this semester.
I'm going shopping tomorrow with my grandmother.
Now I'm off to finish laundry!

I love the Tom Sawyer movies and have been meaning to read the books for years.
