Gnarly right? That's what I get for trying to come down stairs in heels. Ouch.

Still trying to get money to go to Chicago. I give any extra money I have to my mom so she can hide it. That way I won't spend it. It's pretty effective. I've turned in applications to Deb, Starbucks, and Borders. I'm really hoping for a job at Borders. I love that place. Although Deb wouldn't be a bad place to work either. I'm checking on all my applications this week. Hopefully I'll get something.

Things are going well all in all. I've made a new best friend. It's name is Jollyrancher. They're delightful little drinks that you sometimes forget have alcohol in them. Whoops. I must learn how to make them!

I don't really have much to update on. The days keep going by and I try to stay busy. I'm so close to Chicago and yet so far. It's not only to see the boy, but also a chance to get away from Cincinnati. I think I also need a girl's night out with my best friend.

Why is it that I always think I have more to say when I write these things and then when I actually write them, I have nothing to say?? Rats.
