Okay. I need to clarify some things about my rejected set.
First of all, I'm not sure how the whole cheating thing came about. Cheating pisses me off more than anything else in the world. There was nothing dealing with cheating in the set. Not at all.
Second, everything in the set is genuine. The ring I'm wearing was infact my engagement ring that my ex bought for me. The gold dog tag was one I bought in Fort Riley. The dogtag behind that one was a dogtag my ex gave me before he went back to finish AIT during Christmas Exodus. All the letters were actually real letters that he wrote to me when he was in basic training.
Third, I wasn't thinking at all about him coming back from war. I was thinking more like he was coming back for Christmas Exodus. I was anticipating his return. Which is why the guy's hand was at the end. I was excited to see him back.
This set was not made to ofend anyone. This set was to support the army wives. I just want everyone to know that I am sorry for offending anyone. I wasn't trying to. I was trying to do a good thing. I wanted to show my support for the troops by doing a soldier set, but then realizd that there are a lot of those and I wanted to show support for the wives and family of the soldiers instead.
I feel like I keep repeating myself. I like that everyone expressed their concerned and were able to have a healthy debate about it without the claws coming out. Though my intention was not to have a debate at all there will always be something that someone finds offensive. I'm just thankful we could all be adults about it.
Um...I think...I think that's it. If I think of anything else or if more concerns are brought to my attention I will add the response here.
Again I am sorry for offending anyone. It was not my intention.
I hope everyone had a great weekend.
