I finally got the phone call I have been waiting for. The final decision whether or not they were going to let him go. HE'S STAYING!!!!! 
I have never been so relieved in my life. His commanding officer is also working on getting him out of the army as soon as his article 15 (extra duty) is over. His last day is August 25 so he may be home for good shortly after that!
He's getting a general discharge. "Failure to adapt" or something like that. He told me he wasn't happy in the army and he only wanted to stay if they would have let him go to Iraq. For the longest time I didn't like the idea of him quitting, but I have come to the conclusion that I don;t want him to stick with something that doesn't make him happy. Plus I'll get to see him a lot more! I know that sounds selfish. I'm an ass

I really want to learn how to make a video. I'll play around with my computer some and see if I can figure it out. Wish me luck.
I'm beginning the process of making lists for things I will need for my dorm. I think I'm going shopping this weekend with my grandma to get some storage bins that will fit under my bed and what not. Fun stuff.
Oh! Okay so a good friend of mine asked if she could borrow my bass guitar. She was going to teach her boyfriend how to play or something. I told her she could. So she text me yesterday asking if she could drop by and get it. I was shopping with my grandma at the time so I told her she could get it when I got home. I got home and mom told me she stopped by and got my bass. She didn't even let me know. My mom told her she could come and get it. What the fuck?! I'm not worried that she isn't going to take care of it, but that was just plain rude. I called heer and told her I didn't like that she did it and she said something about being in a hurry because she was going to her dad's or something. Her dad has 30 guitars (not exaggerating) She can't pick one? I wonder where my combat boots are that she borrowed from me 2 months ago...
So yeah that's all that has been going on. I don't lead a very exciting life. Now I'm gonna go try to figure out this video thing.

It's ok to be selfish. You just want him happy and it didn't work for him. No harm, no foul.
