Snowpocalypse 2010 dropped 19 inches of snow on me. I'm currently sitting in pajamas drinking merlot as I have been for the last 2 days. Let me make this known: I HATE SNOW. Hate it with the passion of 3,000 burning Sahara desert suns. If I ever figure out how to do it, I'm moving to Australia for 4 months out of the year. The good thing about being snowed in is I get to write. I've done nothing but read, write & play Sims. (It felt damn good.) Hopefully, I'm able to go back to work on Thursday. I'll miss the pay but I'm not risking my jalopy on these roads. My neighborhood is still unplowed & I haven't even seen 1 plow near my street. Blah. I refuse to let this ruin my NYE plans.

The plowing was unusually good in my town and in the surrounding towns - so my drive into work today wasn't too bad. Cleaning it up wasn't fun - ended up going out Sunday evening to clean and then Monday morning, faced some drifts up to my knees in places. I think we got less snow up in North Jersey near the NY state border vs in South Jersey though so it's not a fair comparison.

Nice as it is to see snow, I don't really like it when there is this much and it shuts things down.
