this had to be one of the most fantabulous birthdays ever.

my coworkers got me pink and black balloons and a mocha cake. they sang happy birthday to me in 5 (really, 4) different languages (hindi-india, slavic-romania, spanish, english, and one girl sang the chevy's song because she felt left out for not knowing a foreign language-so i count that as the 5th language).

at lunch i spent $200 at frederick's on various new underwear, bras, stockings, and other undergarments - like the black and red ruffled bra and pantie set...meow!

after work i dyed my hair to a lovely blue-black instead of the multi-fuck job i had going on.

i got phone calls from everyone in my family, and even got to listen to my cousin's little girl, madison, wish me a happy birthday - the first words i've ever heard her speak.

then i got hella dressed up and met erik, who took me to dinner. he gave me a box that has a pirate skull carved into the top of it and then i spent the night all curled up with him, which is always a lovely experience in itself.

tomorrow i'm heading off for a work-sponsored road trip into the northern central valley to make marketing calls on doctor's to promote sinus rinse. i love road trips.

today is the chevy's girl's birthday so i'm going to go sing happy birthday to her in german.
