i am feeling so much better than i have in a long time. i faced my family head-on instead of scampering around hiding and making excuses for not seeing them or masking the truth of my existence the last few months. i told my story, told it how it was and is, i acted like a grown-up and it felt f*in rad! i did the right thing and am that much closer to world domination.
now for school. i start back at csub this evening after taking last quarter off and, in the words of ebin, my most beloved roommate, i'm "not going to screw it up this time." nope, not this girl, no worries on that account.
i have a select group of people that i owe my current optimistic outlook and fact that i'm even still walking on this planet to:
ebin, you're numero uno on that list, for all your goofy laughs and entertainment committee agendas. you're not just the chicano superhero and the best roommate ever, you're a near god in my book and i thank you for your patience and friendship. i'm a lucky girl.
and, to everyone else who met me during this difficult time and chose to get to know me, providing me with friendship and support when i was a train-wreck that would've often been easier to walk away from, thank you for helping ensure my exuberance didn't die. i love you all!
now i have to get dressed and go crunch some numbers in finance class. woo-hoo!

I just sent Ebin The Decline of Western Civilization on DVD - tell him to pop it in and give you a good laugh or two about his "mispent youth" when it gets there.
Sorry we won't see you at the burlesque show Saturday.
