Funny... was JUST chatting with IKCSmiley about Asheville. I was a bit jaded on it for a reason that is entirely too long, complicated, and stupid. But, it's also been maybe ten years since I've been. I would like someplace that has that mixture of lifestyles, a bit of affordability, and excellent public transportation. It's usually that last one that kills a place for me. I don't foresee ever owning a car again and I want to make sure I can get around.

Do you know there's a Mellow Mushroom in Orlando... it's a franchise, now. How oxymoronish, don't you think? (By the way, I know I may sometimes come across as sounding illiterate, but I would like to think that as long as I have a good understanding of the English language, I am allowed to make up words as I see fit to fulfill my intended meaning).

My "dread" fell out by mid-day... I need to think this through a bit harder. Ow... that thinking shite hurts!

I have to try not to spend any money this week because I spent like a mad motherfucker the week of my research. I get paid on Friday, but only $300. I decided that each month I'm putting away $200 towards getting amante reconnected. For this month I just used the rest of my senior thesis money, but next month it's coming out of my paycheck. Hopefully it will work, because I sure don't want to blow $8000 on a surgery that isn't successful. Fortunately I think the place we want to go gives you a substantial refund if the surgery fails, and their success rate is fantastic.

Your office is much prettier than mine, but I bet your coworker doesn't jump up on the desk and tap dance for you like mine does.

Ignorance, certainly, would be bliss. Sadly, I have hobbies, and friends who bug me to go out with them every weekend, but I am such the antisocial homebody at times. It just takes too much energy out of me and I think I overanalyze it too much. I used to work in a nightclub for six years and during that time/before that time, I used to go out every weekend I just got over it. Id look around after six years at having worked the same place and see the SAME faces getting drunk, yet AGAIN, and taking home ANOTHER stranger

But, I do agree that winning the lottery might make things a *bit* different. Of course, purusing hobbies and having lots of fun would be first on my list. But, Id definitely be a world explorer not quite the same as traveling, but similar. Well, I think time off from school has given me too much time to think. I know I shouldnt go back, because it was making me quite miserable and its not what I wanted to do, but going back just to occupy my brain seems like a lovely idea dull classes or no. I dont know Im still up in the air on that one.

Well I will be MIA after today, as my NC friend is coming tonight. But, Ill be back on next week. I hope you have a fabulous week/weekend and, as always, Ive got my fingers crossed that at least one of us wins that damned lotto.

thanx for shoin' my baby some love on his b-day. Today's a big day for him. He finds out just how much is going to get sucked from his paycheck for the next three months...AND it's his last day of school...all in one day.
