So a couple of months ago I bought a new compound bow . . . I decided to get back into shooting a bow . . . and eventually I'll probably get to do some bow hunting. Anyway, I set up a target in my yard, and Sunday night I was peacefully shooting some arrows. I had marked off 20, 25, & 30 yard distances, to get the "feel" at each. I was standing at 30 yards . . took aim . . released the arrow . . and BAM! The bowstring broke, and the bow "blew up" in my hands! Nice! Brand new fucking bow. Well, the good news is . . . my dealer gave me full credit for the bow, and I ordered an even better one . . a Mathews Switchback model. I had wanted the Mathews in the first place, but I cheaped out because it was a couple of hundred dollars more than the Browning. There's an old saying that covers this situation . . When you buy cheap, you buy twice!
How true, how true!

ps . . I would like to add . . . . I can proudly tell you, that I am a responsible and conservation-mined hunter. I only harvest game birds and animals that I also take home and eat. I do not approve of senseless killing, or wasting of resources. I do not condone "Big Game Hunting" of Lions, elephants, leopards, rhinocerous, etc. I also support wildlife conservation through license fees and charitable contributions. I'm one of the good guys . . honest!
