I posted this story, and thought I'd use it here, as a journal entry.
I came very close to getting caught trying to have sex for the very first time . . . I was in high school at the time . . . went over this girl's house after school (we were already good friends) . . . spent the entire afternoon making out on her couch . . she was laying on top of me . . my leg between her legs . . after a time, she had an orgasm. Cool! I picked her up . . and carried her up to her bedroom . . . we were on her bed . . I took off her shirt . . then mine . . . then her bra . . . kissing the whole time . . oblivious to everything . . . BAM, BAM . . car doors in the driveway . . . her parents are home from work!
Holy shit . . . scramble city . . barely put my shirt on . . go running down the steps to the living room . . land on the couch, just as the front door opens. The parents come in . . I'm sitting there - no shoes on - sheepish grin on my face . . and said . . Hi! Dad says - "Where's Melody" . . Uh . she went upstairs to change, sir. Very awkward 'till Melody comes back down . . we make some foolish gesture about homework and books . . . I jump into my car . . . and beat feet down the street! Her parents gave her a raft of shit . . I appologized to her the next day. We never got together after that. I loved her . . and let her go, when she met another guy, because I didn't feel ready to commit. Fuck! I think about her, to this day, and what could have been, I've not been real lucky at love!

Do you know there's a Mellow Mushroom in Orlando... it's a franchise, now. How oxymoronish, don't you think? (By the way, I know I may sometimes come across as sounding illiterate, but I would like to think that as long as I have a good understanding of the English language, I am allowed to make up words as I see fit to fulfill my intended meaning).
My "dread" fell out by mid-day... I need to think this through a bit harder.
