Last Thursday night was one of those nights that will live long and warmly, in my mind. My friend Kristy and I went to see Albert Cummings at the Bamboo Room in Lake Worth. (see http://www.albertcummings.com/ and http://www.bambooroomblues.com/)
I picked her up at her place . . . She wore the new black leather jacket I gave her for Christmas, over a very pretty top and jeans. She looked FUCKING FABULOUS! We went to an Irish pub for dinner . . . . nice place . . good food . . . intimate setting . . . . very laid back and comfortable. After dinner, we walked around the corner to the Bamboo Room . . . spoke to Albert Cummings outside on the sidewalk , and went on in. Cummings is a world-class guitarist . . plays original blues and rock material. We had many drinks, and danced our little asses off for hours. We had SUCH a GREAT TIME!
On the way home, we played Albert's new CD (we bought a copy for each of us) . . . and talked and laughed. I dropped her off at her place . . . quick kiss good night . . . . . her lips are sooo soft and precious . . . like they were made for kissing. What I wouldn't give to spend several hours just kissing her. I wasn't able to think about much else, all weekend. Kristy is such a great person . . . . . I cherish our moments together!
