Somedays suck . . . and then it starts to rain. As if I didn't have enough bullshit last week, between the second hurricane in three weeks, and my surgery on Tuesday, Friday just delivered the Coup de Gras. I had had enough of last week by about 2:30 Friday afternoon . . . so I bailed out of the office, and drove down to my favorite strip club. I saw some friends, had a couple of beers, and decided to call it a day, and go home early. I walked out to my car, put the key in the switch . . . . . nothing. Nada. Zip. As panic slowley set in . . . I pulled the jumpers out of the back, and got another "patron of the arts" to help me out . . . . hooked up the cables . . . turned the key . . . . nuthin'. . . . . then it started to rain. Shit! Soooo . . I started calling tow companies . . . oh yah - be there in about an hour and a half. Nope . . . that ain't gonna make it . . finally found one who could be there in about 15 minutes. O.K. So I'm waiting . . in the rain . . he gets there . . . hooks me up . . . the tow truck is nearly out of gas. Great. So now were looking for a fuel station. He finally got me to the dealership . . later Friday night. . . adios to $75.00. I called a friend who came and took me home. The dealership replaced the whole starter on Saturday morning . . . adios to another $478.00. And you wonder why, some days, you just don't want to get out of bed? Good Grief! I sure hope this week is better.
