If I borrow from my own writings . . is it still plagiarism? Nah! Of course not!


Life can be so unneccessarily cold and even cruel . . . and those of us who have love to share, are often denied the privilege of giving it.

The miserable truth is . . . most people are inherently selfish . . . they take more than they give. I truly believe, that in your lifetime, you will only have a few real friends - friends who care about you enough to care for you when you need them.

Friends are like a garden . . . you can only plant the seeds of friendship, and then cultivate and nurture them with your love and kindness. If one or two of them grow to be real friends . . then you are truly blessed. And like many things in life . . some friends will be in your life only a short time . . so treasure them while you can.


UPDATE

I went to the Blue Note last night . . . and yes . . they called me up to sing!

I don't want to work in real estate . . . I wanna be a Rock Star!

I'm convinced it was a bad combination of substances and a week of VERY little sleep, VERY long, VERY hard hours, and a little overheating. He can be fierce as a hawk sometimes, but he is actually a fragile little sparrow when it comes to how his body handles things like temperature, food, substances, sunlight, the elements, etc. He's my gentle little baby.

this is a week old reply so im sorry if you've forgotten what im referring too! (see: your comment in my last journal about the advice of whether i shuold tell my friend about the rumour)... basically it wouldn't UPSET him if i didn't tell him, and i think that he would take it out on me, "shoot the messanger" so to speak. for now im staying well out of it. but we'll see what happens
