I'm really upset! One of my new tattoos got infected . . . probably from something in Mexico . . . I took a couple of showers in a public restroom at the marina, because the showers on the boat were busy. I could swear I could smell sewage in the drain. Anyway, my left foot swelled up . . I finally went to the doctor on Thursday . . . he was like holy shit, what happened? He put me on a stiff course of anti-biotics - four times a day for about ten days.

On top of this . . my foot was swolen . . and the leather tongue of my boat shoes kept sticking to the tattooed skin, and pulling it off. I'm not sure if its damaged now or not . . . hard to tell until its healed. The last minute trip to Mexico, came at a bad time, relative to the new tattoos on my feet. I would have postponed having them done 'till after the trip, had I known about it. So I'm home for a couple of days . . . taking drugs . . . trying to stay off my feet . . or at least not wear shoes. I hope the tattoo will be O.K.
