I have been up to my eyeballs in work lately . . . sorry if I have been a bit non-communicative lately.
Tuesday found me out at one of the Air Force bases I play at doing 'stuff' with an experimental toy. Those are always long days because of the 300 mile commute to and from the base. No, there are no pictures . . .
On the way back from the base, I got a call that I have been short listed for a fairly large contract with a local municipal client. Considering the value of the contract, almost every waking moment has been spent in the development of the presentation. I am not sure if it is the career advancement or the 3% bonus on the contract value, but I would REALLY like to win this one.
At the moment, I am having a beer (Reaper Ale's Mortality Stout) over a cost proposal to do more 'stuff' to experimental toys. No, there will be no pictures of that toy either . . .
On to fun stuff . . .
I am considering a complete rearrangement of my room that would entail actually BUYING furniture for once. Usually I build all my furniture myself but my garage seems eternally occupied by one of my numerous vehicles. Since I am going to be baby sitting a motorcycle soon, I hardly think it is time to convert my car set up back in to a woodworking studio.
So, now I am shopping for a computer desk, some new book shelves, curtains, possibly a carpet, and a new aquarium. I think 180 gallons sounds pertty good for my next tank . . .
