This weekend kicked ass. Friday night (after a brief stop in the office to kick one of my modeling servers) I met up with Shawndaddy and Gypsygirl and headed to the Kitsch Bar to listen to one of my friends spin. This is always a blast because my buddy is a kick-ass DJ . . . and after the owner knows you are with the DJ your drinks get a bit on the happy side.
Saturday I woke up at some obscene hour of the morning and spent a few hours cleaning my room. With all the traveling and work I have been doing lately, my laundry monster had reached obscene proportions. Much to my surprise, my Tribalectic order showed up! WOOHOO! And not only did I get a 15% off coupon for myself . . . but I also got a 10% off coupon for a friend. (If you want it, let me know) After another brief stop in the office, I headed out to a wedding reception for one of my co-workers. They made the mistake of putting one of those disposable cameras within my reach . . . there will be no question as to which one of the dozen or so they had sitting about that made it in to my hands. Following the reception was an SG event at Dave&Busters for MisterSatan. The SGOC/SGLBC crew was present and the vision of MisterSatan riding a pink stuffed unicorn will forever be burnt in to my memory.
Sunday I spent the morning in the office (are you getting the idea that I work a lot?) but was rescued by a run up to LA to go shopping on Melrose. The goal was to find some interesting jewelry for my septum . . . but all I ended up finding was a pair of clear plugs I can wear while in 'stealth mode' around the office.
Today things are a bit insane. I have two projects to finish up . . . not because they are due tomorrow but because I have a meeting with the Air Force tomorrow that is going to eat up my entire day. The guys I am meeting with are a riot to hang out with, so chances are three hours of discussion will take over six hours to get through. The best part is that they are coming here instead of me having to drive out to the base. At over 300 miles round trip, it is a drive I am never excited to make.
It is about time I get back to the grind, so I wish you all a lovely day.

The goth Hello Kitty was what I brought back from Oklahoma. Not that I saw a single goth there in my six weeks...
