Today the hunt for a new apartment continues, as does the search for a new aquarium. It is rather sick when the greatest weighing factor on a new apartment is how well an aquarium will fit in to it . . . now if I can just find a first floor apartment with all utilities paid (or at least electrical) and within running/walking distance to my office, I will be set!!!

I stopped by and got a quote on a custom tank today . . . a mere 300 gallons

Even though I started working out again a few days ago, today I got the OK from the Doc that I can climbing again. WOOHOO!!!! Now, only a month or two of training and then I head back to tackle Mt Whitney. This time I am going with a MUCH lighter pack so I can move faster up the ledges. I am also going to be significantly more selective when choosing a climbing partner the last one waited until we were two hours in to tell me he was afraid of heights and that he had never winter camped before. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

My day was made even better when I found out that one of my best friends is moving out to California. Yes, that would be you, Stiles . . . you are going to LOVE it out here!!
