I didn't make it in to the office until 4pm today. It is not that I didn't wake up . . . I was up at 8am. I just didn't want to get out of bed. By the time I showered, it was 10:30am.
Something I discovered about that time is the lack of appealing breakfast choices in Tustin. There may be some good places to eat, but I don't know what they are. Even though I was starving, I ended up driving to Plums in Costa Mesa. It was the longest 15 minute drive I have ever made. The seared ahi nicoise was delicious, as was the crab and asparagus omelet.
I should have gone in to the office after that . . . but I just was not ready. Instead, 'He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not' (with Audry Tautou) found its way in to my computer. How can you pass up a movie about a wacky French girl that goes crazy? I certainly could not . . . Maybe this is why I own it.
By this time it was 3pm and I STILL could not bring myself to go to work. Whole Foods was too much of a temptation. Cheese was bought. Life is good.
Basically, my day was pretty awesome.
