I would like to make sleep an optional part of my life for the following reasons:
1) I get more done when I have a whole 24 hours to work with instead of just 18.
2) I can't eat while I sleep. By the time I wake up I am STARVING!
3) My bed takes up a lot of space in my apartment and I would rather have a drafting table.
4) While the dreams are great and all, they just tend to frustrate me for HOURS after I wake up.
Perhaps I will hold sleep in higher regard some day when I have something warm, cute and cuddly that wishes to be in my bed and that I want to be with.
